§ 1. Authority within corporate limits.

The city council may exercise within the corporate limits any planning, subdivision, zoning and building regulation powers (including plumbing, heating or electrical regulation powers) now or hereafter conferred by law upon cities and city governing bodies generally, or specifically conferred by law upon it or upon the City of Lumberton.
